We are looking to make Christmas a little special for the hundreds of people who will come to the centre on Christmas day.

We are looking for a pair of new socks wrapped around a small bar of chocolate and then maybe wrapped in Christmas paper. Can you help make Christmas Special for those sleeping on our streets?

If you are interested in participating in this initiative, the deadline for them being given out on Christmas Day will be Thursday, 19th December. Any delivered after this date, will still be useful, but unlikely to be given out until the New Year.

Donations need to be brought to The Whitechapel Mission at the address below. If you will be dropping off a significant quantity, please call ahead 03000 111 400 to give a heads-up to the staff.

We are always able to utilize personal size hygiene items and cold weather clothing necessities for the homeless and in-need community we serve. During the Christmas season, we make a special appeal for these items and package them into "Hygiene Kits" – a practical gift for each of our Christmas guests. We will need over 500 Hygiene Kits for Christmas Day alone!

• Toothbrush
• Razors
• Shaving Cream
• Underwear (all sizes)
• Socks (white and black)
• Hats
• Gloves
• Individually wrapped, healthy snack

With the number of homeless on the increase the requirements to offer assistance for those forced to sleep on the street is ever increasing. We are always on the look-out for cost effective means to assist those sleeping rough.

The Homeless Pack offers some basic but essential items to help protect against both the rain and the cold – a practical gift for each of our Winter guests. We will need over 500 Homeless Packs for this winter!
